Thankful for volunteers
It was five months in the planning. It took 440-plus volunteers 3,000 hours to complete, working only Wednesday evenings and Saturdays, May through November. It is soon to be home to our Habitat for Humanity Partner family, who contributed over 200 hours of sweat equity herself.
We're talking about our very successful 2013 Women Build in the Jefferson neighborhood. To all we say, "Thank you!"
Along the way new skills were learned, friendships strengthened and team spirit blossomed. In addition, we built a solid home with a wonderful family; all positives for Red Wing and beyond.
As we look back we are extremely grateful to our community for a high level of involvement and financial support. As we look ahead, we invite you to stay connected, to volunteer again, to join a Habitat committee or to serve on our board.
Goodhue County Habitat for Humanity needs your continued engagement. The excitement is building.
