Plan your funeral
Find out the importance of preplanning a funeral and how it can be done at a workshop 10 a.m. Tuesday Oct. 29. Katherine Johnson with Red Wing Law will be available to talk about elder law.
Are you interested in playing volleyball? If so, call Pier 55. The center is working with Red Wing YMCA to start a volleyball league for men and women age 55 and older.
Join Active Older Adults
Get fit and stay healthy. Join in at 9 a.m. Mondays and Wednesdays. The Active Older Adults class includes low-impact aerobics, strength training and stretching. Cost is $30 for 20 sessions for non-YMCA members.
Make blankets, extend comfort
The Granny Blankets group donates fleece-tied blankets to the HOPE Coalition and Red Wing Hospice. Join in at 1:30 p.m. Wednesdays to donate fleece, money or time to tie blankets.
Trips, Travels and Tours heads to Rochester
Tour the holiday-decorated Mayowood Mansion followed by shopping at the Apache Mall in Rochester Thursday Nov. 14. Cost is $40 for members, $45 nonmembers. Sign up by Monday Oct. 28.

The following games will be played: Euchre – 1 p.m. Monday Oct. 28; Scrabble - 1 p.m. Wednesdays; Fun Bridge – 10 a.m. Wednesdays; Chess – 1 p.m. Wednesdays
Care for your feet
A foot care clinic is available Thursdays from 1 to 3:30 p.m. with a home health nurse. To schedule an appointment, call Red Wing Homecare and Hospice at 651-385-3410. The cost is $34.
Medical equipment available
Gently used medical equipment is available at the Senior Center to use for up to three months during a period of medical convalescence or short-term disability.
Items include wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, shower chairs, commodes and more. If you need something, visit or call the center. A $20 donation is requested to help with the ongoing program costs.
Jordan Towers are located in the 400 block of West Fifth Street in downtown Red Wing.
Join the exercise class
Exercise class takes place at 10 a.m. Monday through Friday in the Sailstad Room. Everyone is encouraged to only do the exercises that they feel comfortable doing.
The Seminary Home is located at 906 College Ave. in Red Wing.

Carrie Vecchione and Rolf Erdahl present their “Pages of Music” music learning series at 2:30 p.m. Nov. 2. Family, friends, kids and grandkids are invited to attend.
