Pierce County steps up DUI enforcement
Pierce County Sheriff's Office will participate in the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over Campaign from Aug. 16 to Sept. 2. The goal is to reduce the number of annual traffic deaths on Wisconsin roadways.
The Sheriff's office follows the Zero Vision philosophy, which considers any preventable traffic death as one too many.
Following the speed limit, fastening safety belts and driving sober are all ways to reduce traffic deaths, the Sheriff's office said.
