Red Wing flower baskets along West Third Street get a drink of water. The baskets start out small, but water and fertilizer soon will produce massive displays. Noontime Kiwanis sponsors the flower baskets, which went up through downtown this week. The trays on the cart collect the water as it drains from the baskets and recycles it back into the tank. genius! Photo by Anne Jacobson 1 / 5

Did you know...Hummingbirds are the tiniest birds in the world. They are very smart and they can remember every flower they have been to. Hummingbirds do not drink though their beaks like a straw. Their tongue is grooved like the shape of a "W" and have tiny hairs on the tip of the tongue to help lap up nectar. Their heart beats up to 1,260 times per minute. Their wings will beat about 70 times per second, up to 200 times per second when diving. Photo by Tara Neuffer4 / 5
