One man injured in Zumbrota-area crash

A Chicago man was injured after a two-vehicle crash Friday morning near Zumbrota, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

The motorist, Larry Sims, 55, was taken to St. Marys Hospital in Rochester after the crash, which occurred at 10:05 a.m. at Highway 52 and County Road 7 in Minneola Township. A St. Marys spokeswoman said Sims was seen and dismissed.

The driver of the second vehicle, Leonard Schultz, 49, Zumbrota, was not injured, according to the State Patrol. Both drivers were wearing seat belts. Alcohol was not believed to be a factor, according to troopers.
