Musical DVD focuses on Red Wing's 'Extraordinary Eagles'
Two local entrepreneurs have released a new DVD that spotlights eagles and original music by a local recording artist.
"Extraordinary Eagles" is a picturesque ensemble of images captured around Lake Pepin by local photographer Jon Loye and videographer Nathan Keech. Music by pianist Neal Topliff accompanies the images.
The eagle-watching video is being released by Look Media Productions, a local multimedia firm.
"It was fun and challenging putting this compilation together," said Look Media's Keech. "It was a dream of mine for years to produce this collection, and now seeing it come to fruition is rewarding. Jon Loye contributed most of the photography and I shot most of the video clips. The compilation represents the North American bald eagle in scenic settings around Red Wing and Lake Pepin. "
"Extraordinary Eagles" is the second in a series being created for the regional market. The first DVD, "Remarkable Red Wing," released in 2007, can be found at local retail outlets.
"We've titled our series Visions and Vistas, which represents our original idea of creating DVD slide shows of the upper Mississippi area in picturesque settings," Keech said.
The DVD retails locally for $16.95 at Marita's, Corner Drug, Best of Times Bookstore, Christian Bookstore, Moments on Main, The Galley Room, and Loons and Ladyslippers in Pottery Place Mall. For more information call Look Media at (651) 388-2394 or e-mail email@example.com.
