’Make it OK’ campaign to step off
The Greater Red Wing Area Mental Health Initiative will hold a public meeting from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday Nov. 6 at the St. James Hotel. People are invited to learn from the “Make it OK” anti-stigma campaign.
Red Wing has been selected as the pilot site for greater Minnesota. The goal is to make it acceptable to talk about mental health concerns and change how interact and treat people.
Goodhue County Health and Human Services, Mayo Clinic Health System in Red Wing and United Way will provide updates on current services as well as needs.
The meeting is part of Red Wing Shoe Foundation’s mental health initiative. People are asked to rsvp to firstname.lastname@example.org to help ensure there is adequate seating and meeting space.
