Letter: Fight for Mental Health Awareness
To the Editor:
May is National Mental Health Awareness Month. The public needs to be educated on how it affects relationships.
It can affect young and old, rich and poor, people of all races and religious backgrounds. Presentations could be given at businesses, schools and even churches. Let us all reach out and do our part. God does not judge so we should not either.
Compassion and understanding are what we need for the families, friends and the person it involves. For more information go to www.nami.org.
