Letter: Catch St. John's on stage

To the Editor:

Looking for something to take the kids to do this Friday? Look no further than the Sheldon Theater and “The Rock Slinger and His Greatest Hit” by the students of St. John’s School.

I am the proud parent of a second-generation St. John’s School play actor. For more than 25 years St. John’s School has performed a play at the Sheldon Theater. This year 64 K-8 students will be in “The Rock Slinger and His Greatest Hit” at 1 and 7 p.m. Friday May 23 at the Sheldon. There will be a pre-show program performance by Little Blessings preschoolers and the school music students.

Tickets are free, but a freewill offering will be collected at the door.

Come see the hard work and long standing tradition of St. John’s School students, faculty, parents, grandparents and church congregation members.
