Lane closures planned on Highway 52
Motorists on northbound and southbound Highway 52 near Pine Island will face lane closures beginning Aug. 19.
Crews will be preparing for rock blasting to construct the new southwest frontage road adjacent to Highway 52 between the Elk Run Interchange and Olmsted County Road 12 east, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
During the blasting, traffic will temporarily be stopped on northbound and southbound Highway 52.
Lane closures are expected to last through Friday Aug. 23.
