Lance H. Majerus, 66
Lance Hubert Majerus, 66, of Red Wing, Minn., passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 27.
Born in Goodhue County to Walter Majerus and Mary (nee Liffrig) Majerus, he grew up in Bellchester, Minn., but lived most of his life in Red Wing, Minn.
Lance married Michelle Amendolar in 1968, and they later divorced.
He is survived by one daughter, Christine (Charles) Jakeman, and their daughter, Carsyn, of whom Lance was very proud, all of Round Rock, Texas; one son Steven (Charlann) Majerus of North St. Paul; brothers, Roger (Pauline) Majerus of Kenyon, and Dennis Majerus of Goodhue; sisters, Galdys (John) Lubinski of Plainview, Kay Majerus of Rochester, and Diane (Dennis) O'Reilly of Goodhue; along with many nieces and nephews; and long time friend, Darlene Elwell.
The family will receive friends and family with visitation starting at 10 a.m. and a memorial service starting at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 10, at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel.
The family would like to give great appreciation to St. Benedict's Monastery for praying for Lance through his journey.
