Kim Olson Voth, 54
Kim Olson Voth, 54, passed away at the Alexandria Hospital in Alexandria, Va., Sept. 22 after a brief illness.
She was born in Neosho, Mo., on June 26, 1955. Kim had lived in the Washington, D.C., area for the past 18 years, spending her time between homes in Alexandria and Milton, Del.
Kim graduated in 1973 from Central High School in Red Wing. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Augustana College in Sioux Falls, S.D., and earned a master's degree in health care administration from Webster University while serving on active duty as a Nurse Corps officer in the United States Navy. Kim retired from the U.S. Navy Reserves in September 2005 with the rank of commander.
Kim is survived by her husband of 32 years, Craig "Pete" Voth; and her father, Milton S. Olson (Marge Frost); one sister, Holly (Gerry) Peterson, and two brothers, Paul (Crystal) Olson and Dave (Linda) Olson, all of Red Wing. In addition, she is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Hazel Pearson Olson; and her parents-in-law, Raymond and Elsie Voth.
A family tribute will be held later in October. A graveside service will be held at the Arlington National Cemetery at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 19. Guests planning to attend the service should meet at the Arlington Cemetery administration building at 10:30 a.m.
