The Wingers trailed only New Prague (332) and Chaska (333).

Pacing Red Wing on the course was Stephanie Herzog, who carded a 79. Nicole Schammel followed with an 80, and Maddie Flack (87) and Kayla Oberding (91) rounded out the team score. Solveig Christenson (94) and Maddie Hardyman (102) also competed. Red Wing competed without one of its top golfers, Reagan Haley.

"I liked the way they played today," said Wingers head coach Mark Herzog. "Maddie Flack has given us more consistency. And in the last two meets, Nicole has played really well. She missed another four-footer on 18 to break 80, but she's right there."

Perhaps the biggest shot by Red Wing came from the junior varsity, where eighth-grader Anika Nybo sank a hole-in-one on the 84-yard 14th hole.

Securing medalist honors was New Prague's McKenzie Neisen, who finished with a 69.

The Wingers will finish the conference season on Monday in the Missota Conference championship at the Dahlgreen Golf Course in Chaska.
