Helping Maple River climb back was Josie Ostermann, who scored 15 points in the second half.

“She basically got hot and started to shoot them out of that hole,” said Cannon Falls head coach Eric Mace.

Courtney Woodcock had a double-double night for the Bombers with 19 points and 13 rebounds. She also had three steals.

Anna Rapp added seven points and six boards, and Callie Loeschke came down with six rebounds in the loss.

Now 2-8 on the year, Cannon Falls hosts Pine Island on Friday for a Hiawatha Valley League contest.
