Girls Basketball: Bombers snap losing skid

Cannon Falls snapped a six-game losing streak on Monday with a 77-21 non-conference road win over Minneapolis Patrick Henry.

Pacing the Bombers was Courtney Woodcock, who had a double-double with 21 points and 12 rebounds. Grace Rutter added 10 points and seven rebounds, and Callie Loeschke added nine in the victory. Maggie Rutter grabbed eight boards, and Anna Rapp had four assists for Cannon Falls.

The Patriots’ top scorer was Niara Keyes, who finished with 12 points.

The Bombers (4-17) resumes Hiawatha Valley League play Tuesday at Zumbrota-Mazeppa.
