Forestry day focuses on invasive species

Presentations will focus on insects, diseases and plants that are making their way into local forests. There also will be talks on thousand canker disease and its effects on walnut trees, and on the emerald ash borer.
The Wabasha County Forestry Day is sponsored by the Wabasha County Forestry Committee, the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, the Minnesota Forestry Association, the Wabasha County Soil and Water Conservation District, the Minnesota State Tree Farm Committee and the Minnesota Forest Resource Council's southeast regional landscape committee.
