Donna (Maxwell) Jensen, 68";
Donna (Maxwell) Jensen, beloved mother and grandmother, age 68, of Esdaile, Wis., passed away on Saturday, July 27, after a brief bout with lung cancer.
Donna was born on April 11, 1945, in Plum City, Wis., to Arnold and Marjorie (Anderson) Maxwell. Donna graduated from Plum City with the class of 1963 and gained employment at the Red Wing Shoe Company where she worked for nearly 50 years.
Donna married David Jensen in 1965. They were blessed with two sons, Daniel and Dustin, and later divorced.
Donna enjoyed garage sales, helping others, and especially spending time with family.
She is survived by two sons: Daniel (Gina) Jensen, Ellsworth, Wis., and Dustin Jensen, Helena, Mont.; six brothers: William (Betty) Maxwell, Durand; Marvin (Maxine) Maxwell, Arkansaw, Wis.; Duane (Anita) Maxwell, Ellsworth; James (Joan) Maxwell, Luck; Arnold (Jean) Maxwell, Afton, Minn.; Steve Maxwell, Webster; five sisters: Geraldine Schommer, Prescott; Beverly Suckow, Plum City; Jannett Hinrichs, Durand; Diane (Darrel) Stewart, Arkansaw; Darlene Almsted, Plum City; three grandchildren, Chase, Cooper, Logan. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents; one brother, Dennis; and one grandson, Hunter.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2, at Hill Funeral Home in Ellsworth, and on Saturday, Aug. 3, for 1 hour before the memorial service which will begin at 11 a.m. at Eidsvold Lutheran Church, Esdaile.
