Notice is hereby given that sealed Bids will be received by the City of Red Wing until 2:00 pm Tuesday July 16, 2013 at the Red Wing City Hall, 315 West 4th Street, Red Wing, MN 55066-2568 at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud, for the furnishing of all labor and material for the 2013 Apron Rehabilitation project. Major components of the Work include pavement removal, base preparation, bituminous pavement, concrete curbing & pavement marking.

Bids shall be on the form provided for that purpose and according to the Bidding Requirements prepared by Short Elliott Hendrickson Inc. dated July 2013.

A pre-Bid conference will not be held for this project. Direct all questions to the Engineer five (5) days prior to opening of bids.

Bid security in the amount of five (5) percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.

Bids shall be directed to the Public Works Director, securely sealed and endorsed upon the outside wrapper, "BID FOR 2013 APRON REHABILITATION, RED WING REGIONAL AIRPORT."

The City reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract in the best interests of the City.
