Dallas Issendorf, 87, of Lake City
Dallas A. Issendorf, 87, of Lake City, passed away Friday at the Lake City Nursing Home.
Dallas was born May 20, 1922, in Lake City to Albert and Lorena (Gerken) Issendorf. He attended school in rural Zumbro Falls. Dallas married Hazel Freiheit June 16, 1944, at United Brethren Church in Hammond, Minn. After they were married they farmed in West Albany Township until retiring in 1988. After retiring they moved to Lake City. He was a member of the Lake City United Methodist Church.
Dallas is survived by his wife, Hazel; a son, Dennis (Gloria) Issendorf of Lake City; a daughter, Eileen Daley of Lake City; three grandchildren, Brad (Amy) Issendorf of Lake City, Christopher Daley of Chaska, Minn., Tracy (Marc) Sears of Ellsworth; five great-grandchildren, Emily and Delaney Issendorf, Brandon Issendorf, Preston and Samantha Sears; a sister, Beulah (Howard) Kreger of Minneapolis. He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Michael and Diane Issendorf; one great-grandchild, Owen Issendorf; and one sister, Marcella Loth.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday, June 1, at the Lake City United Methodist Church with the Rev. Don Jones officiating. Burial will be in Lakewood Cemetery in Lake City. Visitation will be 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Mahn Family Funeral Home Anderson-Peterson Chapel Lake City, and one hour before the service Monday at the church.
