Even after a third-place finish at St. Olaf last week, Red Wing head cross-country coach Jesse Nelson knew the Winger boys had a better race in them.

In the Dewey Minnaert Invitational at St. Croix Bluffs Regional Park in Hastings, Red Wing used a strong pack to come away with the team title.

Finishing with 53 team points, the Wingers got two top-five finishers as Aiden Winn took third in 17 minutes, 0.90 seconds and George Nemanich was fifth at 17:08.83.
