City passes on ASAP resolution

The Red Wing City Council decided not to vote on a proposed resolution supporting the Minnesota Arms Spending Alternatives Project, which asks the federal government to move funding from “violence and war” spending to domestic programs.


MN ASAP members say federal budget priorities should be shifted to programs that help with housing, mental health, food and other services rather than wars and military spending.
