Haug, Emmanuel join at Old Stone Church
A free-will offering will be collected for church and cemetery upkeep and repair.
Refreshments will be served following the service, and there will be time for fellowship and cemetery tours.
The church is located at the west end of the Boulevard of Roses in Kenyon. Take Goodhue County 12 south for 1.3 miles, then go west on Monkey Valley Road for one mile.
Sunday supper will be served
Members of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church will serve Sunday Supper/Loaves and Fishes meal at 5 p.m. Sunday June 22 at First United Methodist Church, 403 East Ave.
This is a full meal prepared and served free of charge. Donation baskets are set out. Anyone is welcome.
Temporary respite care available
Faith in Action volunteers will provide short-term relief for a caregiver. They do not provide care services, but a caring presence to relieve the caregiver to attend a support group, shop, or enjoy a personal activity.
The respite can be two to four hours. For information, call 651-385-3290.
Moola for Milk under way
English Lutheran Church in Ellsworth is collecting money in used milk jugs this month. The Moola for Milk will supplement the Salvation Army’s supply of milk coupons distributed at food shelves throughout Pierce and St. Croix counties.
People may drop off change or write checks to the Salvation Army – Grace Place.
Last year congregations in the two counties raised more than $20,000.
Worship in the park this summer
Churches Around the Park will hold outdoor worship in Central Park the fourth Sunday of each month this summer. Details are:
Sunday June 22 — Karl Rydholm of United Lutheran Church will preach. St. Paul’s Lutheran will provide the worship team.
Sunday July 27 — Greg Strunk of First United Methodist Church will preach. Christ Episcopal will provide the worship team.
Sunday Aug. 24 — Michael Way of Christ Episcopal Church will preach. United Lutheran will provide the worship team.
Coffee hour will begin at 9 a.m. with worship at 9:30. Bring lawn chairs or blankets. In case of inclement weather, the service will be at the worship team’s church.
Kid’s Crusade in Lake City starts Sunday July 27th
Children and their families are invited to four nights in a quest for the kingdom. Kids’ Crusade will run share the gospel through illusions, juggling, ventriloquism, clowning, ballooning, stilts, character, unicycling and music.
Activities run 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday July 27 through Wednesday July 30 at the Valley View Assembly of God Church, 305 W. Grant St., Lake City.
Children ages 3 through last year’s sixth grade register for prizes. Children 5 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
A free will offering will be received.
