Upon arrival, an officer reported two individuals in a vehicle outside the motel. When the occupants noticed the officer, they drove off, officials said.

The vehicle was found stuck in a snow bank at 316 Hillcrest Drive. The suspect, identified later as Nicholas Orr, 28, Zumbrota, was tracked to Red Wing Avenue, where he was found hiding under an RV, police said.

Orr was arrested on a felony warrant out of Blue Earth County and also booked on fourth- and fifth-degree assault charges, and fleeing in a motor vehicle and on foot, according to the statement.
