Capital Safety expanding in Red Wing
RED WING -- Capital Safety is planning a 60,000-square-foot expansion project in Red Wing that is expected to create 100 jobs.
The company is a global provider of fall-protection equipment for workers in construction, oil and gas, utilities and other industries. The state Department of Employment and Economic Development is awarding Capital Safety $750,000 from the Minnesota Job Creation Fund.
President Kevin Coplan said Capital Safety's expansion of the Red Wing facility and the additional jobs are necessary to support our continued growth.
