Boys Tennis: Lakeville South sneaks past Red Wing
Red Wing Minnesota 2760 North Service Drive / P.O. Box 15 55066

With a sweep of the doubles competition, Lakeville South beat Red Wing, 4-3, Wednesday afternoon in Lakeville. But the Wingers bounced back, taking out Holy Angels, 7-0, to split a Missota Conference triangular.

Isaac Toivonen, Noah Christenson and Alex Holm all went 2-0 on the day. Toivonen lost just four games, all against Lakeville South, Christenson won both of his matches 6-1, 7-5, while Holm won 7-6, 7-5 against the Cougars, and love-love against the Stars.

Red Wing was slated to travel to Chanhassen Thursday, but like much of the area schedule, the match was washed out due to rain. The next bout on the docket is now against Northfield on Friday followed by a visit from Rochester Lourdes.
