“We were able to build a 20-point lead midway through the second half because we were doing a much better job defensively,” said Bombers’ head coach Josh Davisson.

Offensively, senior post Austin Noble led Cannon Falls with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Hunter Johnson nearly had a double-double with 10 points and nine assists, and Alex Bultena had 16 points and four steals in the victory.

The Thunderbirds’ top scorer was Seth Schuette, who had a game-high 27 points. No other G-F-W player finished in double digits.

At 7:45 p.m. today, the Bombers (6-5) face host St. Peter for the tournament championship.
