Boys Basketball: Lake City rocks Dover-Eyota
It took quite a while for Lake City to get things going, but once it did, Dover-Eyota was no match as the Tigers rolled to a 57-37 victory Friday night.
Lake City had just two points through the first 7 minutes, 30 seconds of the game, then went off on a 26-5 run to close the first half with a 28-12 lead.
Brady Kuchinka, in his second game back from a broken leg suffered in the fall, scored a game-high 23 points. Reid Lundell (13) and Jesse Oliver (10) also scored in double digits for the Tigers, who earned their third straight victory to move to 5-7 on the season.
Up next for Lake City is a trip to Kenyon-Wanamingo (0-10) Tuesday, followed by a visit to Goodhue (7-4) Thursday.
