Boys Basketball: K-M surges in second half to knock off Goodhue
Up 19 at halftime, Goodhue could not hold onto its first-half lead against Kasson-Mantorville on Tuesday as the KoMets outscored the Wildcats 39-18 in the second half on the way to a 50-48 victory in Kasson.
Riley Bollum led Goodhue with 19 points on 8 of 17 shooting, and also grabbed seven rebounds. Tyler Schumacher had 13 points, seven rebounds and five steals, and Nick Earp also finished in double digits with 10.
While the Wildcats were able to put together a strong shooting night by hitting 18 of 37 shots, the team had a hard time handling the ball with 24 turnovers compared to five assists.
Goodhue (0-1) returns to the court Friday at Hayfield.
