Boys Basketball: Cannon Falls loses to Kasson-Mantorville
Cannon Falls trailed Kasson-Mantorville by five at halftime, but the Bombers could not cut down the KoMets’ advantage in a 73-65 Hiawatha Valley League loss Friday in Kasson.
Brock Peterson finished with a game-high 24 points for Cannon Falls. Hunter Johnson came up with 16 points and six assists, and Alex Bultena put together a 10-point, five-rebound effort.
K-M’s depth proved valuable in the win Friday. Derek Flom had a team-high 15 points while four other KoMet players finished in double digits.
The Bombers (1-4, 1-2 HVL) will face Maranatha Christian Academy, last year’s Class 1A state runner-up, Tuesday in Brooklyn Park.
