A poor shooting night doomed Cannon Falls Saturday night as they lost 60-45 to host St. Peter at the Saints’ holiday tournament

St. Peter got a game-high 24 points, along with 10 rebounds, from senior Kolin Bartlett. Tom Steidler helped the Saints’ cause with 16 points and 12 boards, helping the team out-rebound the Bombers 41-25.

Brock Peterson paced Cannon Falls with 13 points, while Jordan Lundell and Alex Bultena had nine and seven points, respectively. Offense was problematic all night for the Bombers as they shot 17 of 60 (28.3) percent from the field, including 3 of 26 from 3-point range.

On Friday, the Bombers (6-6) are back on the court for a Hiawatha Valley League matchup at Byron.
