Ann Louise Weberg, 41
Ann Louise Weberg, 41, of Hastings, Minn., died on Thursday, Nov. 7, at Augustana Care Center in Hastings, after a battle with recurrent brain cancer.
She was born on Dec. 27, 1971, to Vernon and Mary Lou (Plote) Weberg, in Red Wing, Minn. She grew up on a farm in Maiden Rock, Wis., and graduated from high school in Ellsworth, Wis., in 1990. She served in the U.S. Army during the Gulf War, and was stationed at Ft. McClellan, Ala.; Redstone Arsenal, Ala.; Miesau Army Depot, Germany; and Ft. Lewis, Wash. She then graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and worked in healthcare, post graduation.
She is survived by her parents, Vernon and Mary Lou Weberg; and brother, Mark all of Hastings; special friends, April Bignell, Myrna Shiffer, and Cindy (Norb) Reinardy; and special friend and college roommate from Japan, Shinobu.
Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel in Red Wing, with Reverend Gordon Gathright officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. A private family burial will take place.
