On October 1, 2013 the Goodhue County Board of Commissioners approved the following requests:
Goodhue County Zoning Ordinance Amendments:
* Articles 11 Article 11 (Performance Standards) – with amended language related to residential accessory buildings in the A-1, A-2 and A-3 Zone Districts.
* Article 12 (Bluff Land Regulations) – with amended language related to setback requirement from top or toe of bluff for wireless communication facilities.
* Article 20 (A-1 Agricultural Protection Zone District Regulations) – revised language regarding residential accessory building(s) in excess of 7200 square feet being subject to obtaining a conditional or interim use permit. Also revised language regarding road frontage or driveway easement requirements required to subdivide new parcel or to qualify for building structures(s).
* Article 21 (A-2 Agriculture Zone District Regulations) – revised language regarding residential accessory building(s) in excess of 7200 square feet being subject to obtaining a conditional or interim use permit. Also revised language regarding road frontage or driveway easement requirements required to subdivide new parcel or to qualify for building structures(s).
* Article 22 (A-3 Urban Fringe Zone District Regulations) – revised language regarding residential accessory building(s) in excess of 7200 square feet being subject to obtaining a conditional or interim use permit. Also revised language regarding road frontage or driveway easement requirements required to subdivide new parcel or to qualify for building structures(s).
* Article 31 (Flood Plain Regulations) – deletion of a requirement for “all new principal structures to have vehicular access at or above an elevation not more than two (2) feet below the RFPE.
Maltby/Chojnacki Property Zoning Map Amendment: Rezoning the S ½ of the N ½ of NE ¼ except the W ½ of the SW ¼ of the NW ¼ of the NE ¼, Section 18, T112N R18W, Stanton Township (approximately 35 acres north of Sciota Trail) that was removed from the State-designated Wild and Scenic District along the Cannon River to R-1 Suburban Residential District.
