Cannon Falls’ Jared Woodward allowed six hits over seven innings to pick up the victory in a 4-1 decision over Northfield on Wednesday.

Woodward also walked one batter, but struck out five in the process.

Brandon Voth led the Bears with three RBI, all coming on a first inning home run that scored Cory Hedeen and Rich Burr. Jaime Stay had Cannon Falls’ other RBI, scoring Taylor Pagel with a fifth-inning single.

Winchell had a team high three hits, with Pagel adding two.

The Bears will hit the road Sunday to face Lake City at 2 p.m. in Cannon Falls’ regular season finale.
