Amateur Baseball: Aces get back on track

Aaron Johnson mowed down the order, and the bats finally came alive for Red Wing as the Aces handled Prescott, 5-0, on Friday in a first-round game in the Josh Harrison Memorial Tournament at John Burch Park in Cannon Falls.


Johnson threw a complete-game shutout, throwing seven innings and giving up just four hits and two walks. The combined six base runners were equaled by Johnson’s six strikeouts as Red Wing moves on to face Eagan at 2:30 p.m. Saturday back in Cannon Falls.
