Amateur Baseball: Aces continue to roll

The bats have arrived.

For the fourth straight game, the Red Wing Aces lit up the scoreboard with double-digit runs, beating the Blaine Fusion 10-1 Friday night at the Red Wing Athletic Field.

“The last four games here have been pretty fun to play in,” said Aces assistant manager Steve Boldt. “The pitching has been good, the defense has been good, and the hitting is starting to come around when it needs to. It’s fun. It’s fun to come to the ball park.”
