Alex Quiding got Red Wing back on the board in the second with run-scoring single that pushed Kyle Blahnik across home plate. Mike Stegora and Hommes both had an RBI in the fourth.

Zachary Wolf drove in Alex Nelson on an RBI triple in the second inning for Lake City’s lone run.

The Aces (3-3, 1-1 CCVL) will head to Hastings on Friday for the second of four straight league games, while the Serpents are off until Sunday when they will host Red Wing.
