Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received, publicly opened and read aloud by the City of Red Wing, Minnesota, at the City Hall, 315 West 4th Street, Red Wing, Minnesota 55066 in said city at 1:30 p.m. on March 6, 2014 to construct the 2014 Sewer Rehabilitation Project Cured in Place Pipe (CIPP) Installation as defined in the specifications. A general description of the work includes:
1.Cleaning and televising approximately 9,973 feet of 8 and 9 sanitary sew- ers;
2.Installation of bypass pumping around piping segments as they are being lined;
3.Installation of approximately 6,495 feet 8 cured in place pipe (CIPP) lining;
4.Installation of approximately 3,478 feet 9 cured in place pipe (CIPP) lining; and
5.Post CIPP installation televising
Plans and specifications as prepared by the City of Red Wing are on file and available for review during normal business hours at the City of Red Wing Public Works building, 229 Tyler Road North, Red Wing Minnesota. 55066
Complete sets of Bidding Documents and bidding instructions are available for downloading from the City of Red Wing website (www.red-wing.org) for a non-refundable fee of $20.00.
Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or cashiers check payable to the City of Red Wing in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid as a guarantee that the Bidder, if successful, will enter into a contract with the Owner for the work described in the bidding documents. This deposit will be subject to forfeiture as provided by law. The deposits for the three lowest bidders will be retained by the Owner until the contract has been awarded and executed, but no longer than ninety (90) days. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days following the bid opening.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities or to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder, in the best interest of the Owner.
