52/9 crash injures four

A three-car crash at the intersection of Highway 52 and County Road 9 injured four people over the weekend, Minnesota State Patrol reported.

The crash happened at about 4 p.m. Saturday. A 2001 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Joshua Nading, 16, Pine Island, was eastbound on County Road 9 when it struck two vehicles - a 2006 Jeep Commander driven by Marsha Gorman, 58, Lanesboro, Minn., and a 2011 Ford Edge driven by Thomas Griffin, 68, Winthrop, Iowa - that were traveling northbound on Highway 52.

The vehicles collided in the northbound lane of Highway 52. Nading, his passengers Joseph Nading, 13 and Jacob Nading, 14, sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Gorman's passenger, Mark Gorman, 62, also sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The other six people involved in the crash were not injured.

Goodhue County Sheriff's Office assisted at the scene.
