Sargent’s Nursery and the Red Wing Arts Association have teamed up to hold the Winter Art Fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday Jan. 25 in the nursery’s greenhouse.

Find locally made art from over 25 artists — from photography to paintings, from fiber art to metal lawn ornaments.

The Hay Creek Ramblers will provide music.

Ice Fishing Contest

The Red Wing Rotary holds its annual Jim Ferguson Kids Ice Fishing Contest - open to all kids in the community. Participants are encouraged to bring buckets or chairs to sit on and their own ice fishing equipment if they have it. The Rotary Club will provide bait, cookies, hot chocolate and will have some ice fishing poles available. Prizes are awarded to the child who catches the first fish, the smallest, largest, and the most.
