After years of headlining rock shows and opening for large acts, Minneapolis native Tony Williams began a journey of crisscrossing the musical spectrum, searching for the right mixture of melody, emotion and instrumentation.

He created a true solo record from start to finish under the brand of TW.

With the release of his debut EP, “Destined to Be Real,” Williams played every instrument on the four-song release. Guitars, keyboards, fretless bass, drums and vocals were all tracked individually.

The final mixes are a blend of singer/songwriter, acoustic and rock featuring melodic chorus, promoters said.

During the summer of 2011, he was voted the winner of the KARE 11 “The Voice: Minnesota” contest.

The winery is located at 421 Mill St. For more information, call 507-263-7400 or visit www.cannonriverwinery.com.
