Spotlight: The River Falls Brass — a University of Wisconsin-River Falls faculty brass quintet -- will perform the music of Collier Jones, J.S. Bach, Martin Luther, Joseph Horovitz and recent UWRF composer in residence Gregory Fritze. Hear the concert at 7:30 p.m. Sunday Nov. 17 in Abbott Center Hall, located in the Kleinpell Fine Arts building on campus.

Barn dancing

The Rush River Ramblers play live for the barn dance. No experience is necessary for a good time. An expert caller is on hand to teach steps to new and more seasoned dancers. All ages are welcome, singles and couples. The first half of the evening features family dances suitable for children, with more advanced dances in the second half. The barn dances are a joint project of River Falls Community Arts Base and River Falls Parks and Recreation.
