Stanley is known as an engaging live performer, weaving humorous stories with fun song covers and her own original material.

She performs regularly in Minneapolis and also has played at the South by Southwest Festival in Austin.

Stanley has released two successful CDs "Stray Songs" and "The Sad and Found." Her new album is "The Devil Hasn't Won."

Performing with Stanley are Dan Gaarder on guitar and vocals and Jim Parker on mandolin.

"I think one of the wonderful things about our music series is the eclectic mix of music styles," said Nancy Dimunation, nursing administrator for Mayo Clinic Health System in Cannon Falls, Lake City and Red Wing. "We are proud to have presented national renowned artists such as Eric Himy and Butch Thompson along with local Minnesota performers such as Ellen Stanley and our local Red Wing talent."

The Sheldon Presents series is now in its fourth season. The performances are free and open to the public. The Garden View Café in the medical center offers refreshments available for purchase.
