MINNESOTA HOUSING FINANCE AGENCY
NOTICE OF HEARING ON BOND ISSUANCE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency will hold a public hearing at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, December 15, 2017, at its offices at 400 Wabasha Street, Suite 400, St. Paul, Minnesota 55102, for the purpose of taking public comment regarding the issuance of its tax-exempt bonds in one or more series issued on one or more dates in the maximum respective principal amount set forth below, including a plan of finance therefor. The Bonds are proposed to be issued to fund one or more mortgage loans to pay for all or a portion of the costs of the acquisition, construction and equipping of the following development, including facilities related and subordinate thereto, for residential rental housing:
A scattered site project consisting of the following multifamily developments: a 30 unit single building multifamily housing development currently known as Malmquist Estates, located at 2622 Malmquist Avenue in Red Wing, Minnesota 55066; a 42 unit five building multifamily housing development currently known as Pine West Complex, located at 200 11½ Avenue South in Cold Spring, Minnesota 56320; a 26 unit three building multifamily housing development currently known as Springhaven, located at 1104 3rd Street South in Cold Spring, Minnesota 56230; a 16 unit single building multifamily housing development currently known as Town Edge, located at 820 Main Street in Gaylord, Minnesota 55334; a 36 unit three building multifamily housing development currently known as Heather Court, located at 635 Hilltop Avenue in Owatonna, Minnesota 55066; a 23 unit single building multifamily housing development currently known as City Centre, located at 300 1st Avenue SE in Pine Island, Minnesota 55963; a 24 unit two building multifamily housing development currently known as North States Apartments, located at 116 14th Avenue NW in Waseca, Minnesota 56093; a 16 unit single building multifamily housing development currently known as BR Properties, located at 108 14th Avenue NE in Waseca, Minnesota 56903; an 8 unit single building multifamily housing development currently known as Hillside Apartments, located at 101 Angel Street SW in Watertown, Minnesota 55388; a 22 unit single building multifamily housing development currently known as Riverside, located at 210 Territorial East in Watertown, Minnesota 55388; and a 24 unit two building multifamily housing development currently known as Ridgely Park Apartments, located at 601 South Ridgely Street in Kasota, Minnesota 56050. Each of the forgoing developments in this scattered site project are proposed to be acquired and rehabilitated by RD Properties 2017 Limited Partnership, a Minnesota limited partnership, or an affiliate thereof or successor thereto, as its initial owner, operator or manager; one of the managing partners of which will be SWMHP RD Properties 2017 LLC, a Minnesota limited liability company, or another entity owned or affiliated with Southwest Minnesota Housing Partnership, a Minnesota nonprofit corporation whose registered address is Slayton, Minnesota. The maximum principal amount of the Bonds for this development is $13,200,000.
