Notice is hereby given that the City of Red Wing Advisory Planning Commission will hold a public hearing in the City Council Chambers at City Hall on Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at 7:00 p.m., to hear and make a recommendation on a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) request and Variance request by Andrew Baartmann/Keller-Baartmann Properties III, for a Storm Water Management Plan related to the grading and construction of a new home at 1811 Crestview Court, including the demolition of an existing home. The majority of the grading was completed prior to the issuance of a Grading Permit and Storm Water Management Plan, as required by the Red Wing Zoning Ordinance. The completed and proposed grading and construction project results in the disturbance of approximately 2.5 acres of land. The pre-grading/demolition impervious areas on the site totaled approximately .54 acres. The proposed post development impervious areas on the site total approximately .54 acres. The Red Wing Zoning Ordinance requires the approval of a Storm Water Management Plan as a CUP for projects that disturb more than one acre of land. The proposal also includes a Variance request to exceed the R-2 Residential Two accessory square footage maximum limit of 1,000 square feet. An existing 1,275 square foot detached garage remains on the site and is proposed to be moved to the northwest corner of the site; the applicant is requesting a variance to add a detached 532 square foot pool house adjacent to the proposed new home in the southeast corner of the property. The site totals five acres in size.
The legal description of this property is as follows: Unplatted Land, Part of the NE ¼ of the SE ¼ Section 36, T113N, R15W, being the E500ft of W785ft of S435ft, Goodhue County, Minnesota. More commonly known as 1811 Crestview Court.

Written or oral comments to said application may be presented at this public hearing or filed with the City Clerk prior to this hearing. Each response will be duly considered and evaluated before any formal action is taken by the Planning Commission.
