Red Wing schools will close early

Notice is hereby given that the City of Red Wing Planning Advisory Commission will hold a public hearing in the City Council Chambers at City Hall on Tuesday, June 16, 2009, at 7:00 p.m., to hear and make a recommendation on a Variance request by Tony and Jenney Mornell, 445 9th Street, to construct a new attached garage with a 5' side yard setback and a 10' 1" rear yard setback. The property currently does not have a garage. The Red Wing Zoning Ordinance requires an 8' side yard setback and a 20' rear yard setback in the (R-2) Residential Two Zoning District.

The legal description of this property is as follows:

Plat and Parcel No. 55-180-0190

The westerly 56 1/4 feet of the northerly 100 90/100 feet of the easterly 1/2 of Lot 10, Block 1, of Freeborns & Cos Addition, City of Red Wing, Goodhue County, Minnesota. More commonly known as 445 9th Street.

Written or oral comments to said application may be presented at this public hearing or filed with the City Clerk prior to this hearing. Each response will be duly considered and evaluated before any formal action is taken by the Planning Commission.
