• Wieser Concrete Products Inc. was recognized for an outstanding no-loss time injury safety record at the annual convention of the National Precast Concrete Association in March, the company's Maiden Rock office announced.

Wieser Concrete Products has more than 100 employees located at five precast production facilities located in Wisconsin and Illinois. The company has two distribution facilities, one in Wisconsin and one in Minnesota.

"Our Maiden Rock facility received this award because our team has worked over 118,000 hours without a loss-time injury," said Terry Kocur, director of marketing. "This award is based on hours worked as each company has different risk exposure if only measured in days, years, etc. due to the number of team members at a particular location."

Also in March, the company held onsite training for more than 900 Wisconsin plumbing professionals. The one-day events in five locations, including Maiden Rock, fulfill continuing education requirements for installation contractors, sanitarians, system designers and others who work in the onsite wastewater field.
